Now under new ownership, we bring over 60 years of combined construction and design experience to every project. Whether it’s custom paver installations, pool decks, artificial turf, or complete landscape design, our team understands what it takes to create durable, stunning outdoor environments tailored to the Florida Keys lifestyle.

Dean Eakin was born and raised in West Palm Beach with family roots stretching more than a century deep in Florida. Dean kicked off his career in 1989 earning his general contractors license and specializing in historic renovations in the Town of Palm Beach on homes originally designed by Addison Mizner, Maurice Fatio, Marion Sims Wyeth and Jon Volk. Dean earned several awards including The National Historic Renovation for work he completed restoring Mar A Lago.

In 1999, Dean relocated to Islamorada to raise his two daughters Rachel and Mallory. Two years later he founded Islamorada Pool Company. Over the next two decades he mastered the craft of outdoor living, crafting over 400 pools throughout the Keys.

Julie Eakin, also a native Floridian, has been a resident of the Keys since 1970. Second to being a mom to her son Alan, Julie has been blessed to work and serve in this amazing community in many capacities. In 2000, she entered the world of interior design with Mr. D’s Island Designs. By 2010, the same year that Dean and Julie joined forces in love and life, Julie launched her own full-service Interior Design company, InsideOut. Together, Dean and Julie collaborated on numerous projects redefining luxury outdoor living in the Florida Keys.

After selling Islamorada Pool Company and retiring from interior design, Dean and Julie recently acquired Precision Pavers, a keys mainstay since 2001, blending seamless outdoor living with enduring legacy.

Dean and Julie now focus on elevating Keys outdoor living with custom hardscapes: natural stone that never gets hot, synthetic turf that drinks salt water and stays plush, tall privacy walls, fully- equipped outdoor kitchens, and layered LED lighting for precise ambiance… timeless Keys living perfected!
